| Saint Mary's (#21) is the lone West Coast team in this week's AP Top 25 poll.
Saint Mary's moves up three spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at home over Pepperdine, 61-47. After that came another win at Santa Clara, 93-77.
Kentucky gets back the number one ranking following a week in which they first got a victory at home against Arkansas, 86-63. After that came another win at home against Alabama, 77-71. Syracuse falls from the top spot with a win against Pittsburgh, 71-63 and a loss to Notre Dame, 67-58. Florida State breaks into the Top 25 at #23 with a win at home over Maryland, 84-70 and an upset win at then-4th ranked Duke, 76-73. Wisconsin comes in at #25 with wins against then-22nd ranked Illinois, 67-63 and Northwestern, 77-57. Illinois falls out of the Top 25 this week with an upset loss at Penn State, 54-52 and an upset loss at home to Wisconsin. Louisville drops out after a win against Pittsburgh, 73-62 and a loss to then-25th ranked Marquette, 74-63.
Connecticut is a big mover this week to #24 after an upset loss at home to Cincinnati, 70-67 and an upset loss at Tennessee, 60-57.
