Brigham Young's Noah Hartsock has been selected as the StatSheet West Coast Player of the Week for the week ending February 6th. StatSheet's West Coast Freshman of the Week is Gonzaga's Gary Bell. Hartsock tallied a strong showing in scoring (18 pts per game) and rebounding (9 per game). The Brigham Young senior played well for the Cougars in wins versus 24th ranked Gonzaga and Portland.
Hartsock topped all scoring and rebounding for the Cougars with 24 points and 14 rebounds in an 83-73 shocker over Gonzaga. In the next game he added 12 points and 4 rebounds in a 79-60 win against Portland.
This is a familiar honor for Noah Hartsock, who has been selected StatSheet West Coast Player of the Week three times. The runner-up this week is Saint Mary's senior Rob Jones. Honorable mention goes to Brigham Young junior Brandon Davies. The highest ranking player from Portland was Ryan Nicholas who finished 11th.

Gary Bell was on the floor an average of 29 minutes as a starter for Gonzaga. In an 83-73 loss to Brigham Young, Bell rang up 14 points and 5 rebounds. Then in a 72-60 win against Pepperdine, he added 5 points and 4 assists.
This is a new honor for Gary Bell, the first time he has won StatSheet West Coast Freshman of the Week. The runner-up is Brad Waldow from Saint Mary's. Our own Thomas van der Mars receives honorable mention. Portland has yet to win StatSheet West Coast Player of the Week.
